Why I Became a Holistic Realtor, Reiki, Intuition, and Real Estate on Long Island

Holistic Realtor. If you're wondering what a holistic realtor is I'm eager to share my thoughts. But I first need to go back to the beginning of the journey that led me to a more balanced approach to my real estate profession.
Several years ago, I embarked on a new chapter in my life. I was newly divorced and hoping to find an additional career to incorporate into my life. It was suggested to me that I should look into Reiki Energy Healing. I took a few classes for hands-on healing, distance healing, intuitive development, and meditation. The end result was a deeper connection with myself and others, a greater interest and understanding of the Universe and Universal laws, and a greater degree of peace and calm within myself.
After developing and growing my Reiki practice, I began to ponder how to incorporate these new skills into my already firmly grounded real estate business. I decided to take a less transactional approach and incorporate body, mind, and soul into each client and each transaction.
I'll give you an example. When working with a buyer, I remind my clients to get back into their bodies when seeing potential homes. How is your breathing? Do you feel relaxed or uncomfortable? Pay attention to yourself, not if your couch will fit, or where the TV will go.
I also can use my Reiki healing attunement to clear the energy in a home. Oftentimes, new homeowners like the idea of clearing out the energy and establishing their own energy in a home.
